Corrections Policy

RapforMayor.com works to get the facts right. When we make a mistake, we correct it promptly and transparently.

How we handle corrections

When a factual error is confirmed, we update the article and add a note at the end explaining what was changed and when. Minor fixes to spelling, grammar or formatting that do not change the meaning of a story may be made without a note.

Clarifications and updates

If a story was accurate but incomplete or could be misunderstood, we add a clarification. When a developing story changes, for example when charges are filed or dropped, we update the article and note the date of the update.

How to report an error

If you believe something we published is inaccurate, please tell us through our contact page. Include the article’s headline or link and what you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one.
